APU also has an extensive collection of multicultural children's literature, located on the 3rd floor of Marshburn Library. To identify titles, try searching the catalog for a keyword (e.g., "hispanic"), limiting your search to "Children's Literature."
Media items are located in Marshburn Library on East Campus. Undergrad and graduate students may check out media items for 2 days. Faculty, staff, and doctoral students may check out media items for 14 days. Regional Center students may request mailing of media items either by clicking the "Request" link within the catalog, or by filling out the Interlibrary Services request form.
One way to locate books on your topic is to enter keywords (words that describe your topic) into the search box in the APU library catalog. You can also enter them here:
Undergrad and graduate students can borrow up to 100 books at a time, with an initial check-out period of 28 days and 4 renewals. Doctoral students, staff, and faculty members can borrow up to 500 books at a time, with an initial check-out period of 90 days and 2 renewals.
You can place items on hold by clicking the "Request" link and selecting a pickup location. We'll send you an email when your items are ready to be picked up (usually the next day). Regional Center students may request free mailing of books by choosing "By Mail" as the pickup location. Mailing is free; items will be sent to your home address with a pre-paid mailing envelope included.
You can check your library account and renew your library books online through the APU library catalog.
