Student Positions

All open student jobs are posted on the APU Career Services website. If no positions are listed, there are no openings in the Libraries at this time.

To apply online for open positions on the APU Career Services website, follow these steps:

  1. Click on “Log in to view current job postings on APU’s Career Network.”
  2. Click on “for students/alumni.”
  3. Register for a new account – the username is your email address, and “cougars” is the password.
  4. Once you receive an email with a new username and password, log in to search for current library job postings (if there are any).
  5. Click on the "Job Postings" tab, then click on APU Career Network Jobs to find all Internships, On-Campus, Full-time, & Part-time jobs for APU students.
  6. When searching for jobs: Select “On-Campus (APU on-campus jobs)” under Position type.
  7. When you find a library job posting that interests you, submit your resume via the Career Services website.

You may also submit a paper application, which can be downloaded at http://www.apu.edu/studentemployment/working.

  1. Fill it out electronically and email it to the contact name on the job posting.
  2. If there is no contact information listed, you may drop your application off at the library where the job is posted. Be sure to note the position title on the application.

Once you have submitted an application, you should be contacted within two weeks. If you are not hired for the position, we will keep your application on file for six months; you may be contacted if new positions open up that match your qualifications.
