All open student jobs are posted through the APU Career Services website. If no positions are listed, there are no openings in the Libraries at this time.
Before you can apply online for open positions, you must first register on the Symplicity website.
To search for open positions, follow these steps:
To apply for a position, your résumé must be uploaded into APU Career Network. If a job posting requires an APU On-Campus Student Employment Application, you must download an application to apply to that position. Follow the instructions on the application. Then upload the completed application back into APU Career Network via the Resumes/Cover Letters tab. You can also find a blank application inside the Resumes/Cover letters >> Document Library tab. After you have uploaded your résumé and application, you will be allowed to apply to the position. Select the résumé you wish to upload and the completed application inside the transcript dropdown box and continue to apply.
Once you have submitted an application, please wait for a hiring manager from the library to contact you. If you do not receive a response within several days you may follow up with the hiring manager listed in the job posting. If you are not hired for the position, we will keep your application on file for six months and may contact you if a new position opens up that matches your qualifications. Please also check back from time to time for new job postings on the APU Career Network as jobs do become available throughout the semester.
