Writing Papers Using Turabian Style

This subject guide is meant to help students with citation formatting in the Turabian style. Turabian style allows writers to create either in-text notes (N) with a corresponding bibliography (B) at the end, or in-text parenthetical references (PR) with a corresponding reference list (RL). The bibliographic style is most commonly used when writing a paper in the humanities, while the reference list style is most commonly used when writing a paper in the fields of natural and social sciences. This guide contains citation examples as well as many other useful tools and resources.

Happy writing!
