A comprehensive research guide for nursing and the allied health fields of study.

A Request From You

Please do not download or "check out" an eBook. When you do that, you may limit others from checking out the same title. Some of our books are limited to 1 user at a time. In that case, you keep the rest of our students from using that book. At this time, please just read the books online, as PDF or other file types.

Searching for Books & Ebooks

  1. Go to – www.apu.edu/library
  2. Scroll down and click the tab labeled “Books and Media” and “Search”.
  3. Set limiters first:
    • Under “Add Limits (Optional)”, set “Location” to “Ebooks”
    • Under “Add Limits (Optional)”, set “Language” to any language you read
  4. Under “Enter Search Terms” enter keywords that describe your resource needs
    • If you know author or title, enter that in the box and then change the dropdown “Any field” to, either “Author” or “Title”.
