Azusa Pacific University has a subscription to Credo InfoLit. This guide helps you incorporate Information Literacy into your courses by using Credo InfoLit which provides high-quality, standards-aligned instructional materials on information literacy and critical thinking skills. They are ideal for supplementing and supporting classroom instruction, online teaching, or student remediation needs.
Modules consist of videos, tutorials, and quizzes and can be integrated into your Canvas shell, or linked to directly (students are authenticated through the library proxy). Each lesson also includes a list of Student Learning Outcomes. If you prefer to direct students to the tutorial that we have created, Beyond Google: Foundations of Information Literacy & Research, the course is set up so that you do not need to do anything except direct them to enroll in the tutorial. Your students can earn badges when they complete the different modules in the tutorial. You can offer extra credit by requiring the students to show you the badges that they have earned.
Faculty are also suggested to read over the Information Literacy Guide which covers the standards in more detail.

InfoLit is divided into the following six topics:
Under each topic is a combination of tutorials, videos, and quizzes. Instructor Guides for each of these modules is found on the Credo InfoLit Multimedia page.
Also, there is a pre-test and post-test available.
For more information, contact Denise Gehring, drgehring@apu.edu
See the Credo InfoLit Multimedia tab for a list of topics available through the modules in our Credo InfoLit subscription.
Instructor guide documents are available at the beginning of each Module (marked with an asterisk, staff/instructor view only). These documents are instructor-facing only and include the learning objectives and related information literacy standards for each Module, as well as topics for discussion and activities (for a class or additional assignments), and many have relevant websites or readings.
