  • Academic Earth
    Description:
    Academic Earth is described as "a user-friendly educational ecosystem that will give internet users around the world the ability to easily find, interact with, and learn from full video courses and lectures from the world’s leading scholars."

  • TED-Ed
    Description:
    The TED-Ed site provides "carefully curated educational videos, many of which represent collaborations between talented educators and animators nominated through the TED-Ed platform. This platform also allows users to take any useful educational video, not just TED's, and easily create a customized lesson around the video."

  • Ustream: Education
    Description:
    Ustream is a "live interactive broadcasting platform." Users can both view and broadcast content. Live broadcasts include a chat feature that allows viewers to comment throughout the broadcast. Many live broadcasts are archived as recorded videos. The education section includes live lectures and events from various colleges and universities, along with other educational content.
    Pricing Info: 
    Most of the broadcasts and videos are free to view, but some require a fee.

  • Vialogues
    Description:
    A Vialogue is "a video plus a dialogue." Vialogue creators upload a video, and then insert comments, surveys, and open-ended questions throughout. Vialogue viewers can make their own comments as well as respond to the embedded comments, surveys and questions.

    Description:
