How to create links to database articles

About Permalinks

  • Because during a search the link is dynamically created and called dynamic URLs, they are likely to contain the following within the URL ?, &, %, +, =, $, cgi-bin, .cgi.
  • Permalinks are useful for revisiting online articles. Save the permalink for any article you find that you think you might use in your research. You can bookmark it, print it out, copy it to MS Word.
  • Not all databases use the word "permalink." They can also be called: Bookmark, Document link, Link, Permanent link, Persistent link, Static link, URL, Stable link.
