Here you will find a tutorial on the step by step process in becoming information literate. Azusa Pacific University Library has a subscription to Credo InfoLit. InfoLit provides high-quality, standards-aligned instructional materials on information literacy and critical thinking skills. They are ideal for supplementing and supporting classroom instruction, online teaching, or student remediation needs. Modules consist of videos, tutorials, and quizzes and can be integrated into your Canvas shell, or linked to directly (students are authenticated through the library proxy). Each lesson also includes a list of Student Learning Outcomes. If you prefer to direct students to the course tutorial, Beyond Google: Foundations of Information Literacy & Research, the course is set up so that you do not need to do anything except direct them to enroll in the tutorial. Your students can earn badges when they complete the different modules in the tutorial. You can offer extra credit by requiring the students to show you the badges that they have earned.
